More than a road trip - An Internet adventure!
This is an adventure I should have started 15 or 20 years ago. Look me up and follow along at www.smartwebventures.com. I have taken, what I hope becomes a positive step forward. I am following my sister’s advice, only she doesn’t know it. Some years ago and perhaps even today, one of her favorite expressions is; “Just do it!”
Before online marketing took off it was “Dollars in Your Mailbox” and many other work-at-home opportunities. Some were scams and schemes; some were legitimate; many were confusing; not unlike the Internet today. However, the one thing I have noticed more than any other is that the Internet opportunities are more information-related than the mailbox offers ever were!
I have decided on a mentor … sort-of. Paul Meyers has been writing newsletters for 10 plus years and is one of the most engaging writers I have had the pleasure of reading. He has some great ideas and presents them in an easy to understand format. His wit is legendary and best of all … He answers his emails! I have purchased a few of his information products in the past and all have made me think. I took a big step this weekend and purchased information that cost me more than I ever thought I would spend. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t a huge amount, only $197. But it does give me options I hadn’t considered before and has given me ideas that I think just might work. If my plans work and actually bring in a few dollars, I’ll get all that back plus!
